Char No. 4, Schiller's, the Standard

This entry happened back in April 2010.

The first weekend of April most of my college friends came into town for Josh's 30th. Eve dropped him off at Char No. 4 where we all waiting to surprise him.

She got us all a 3 whiskey flight with ascending amounts of rye: George Dickel, Bulleit, and Rittenhouse 25 yr. The George Dickel was really interesting.

I don't quite remember the food except that everything was tasty. The service was exceptional, a step higher than you'd expect.

We were all playing with our cameras.

On the last day, Josh made a reservation at Schiller's.

This place just feels wonderful to be in. There's great light and a nice vibe. We got there early. It was packed when we left.

The Cobb salad was not quite what I was expecting. Very shredded.

We stopped by the New Museum for the awesome Skin Fruit exhibit then walked the High Line and had drinks on the ground floor of the Standard.
