Xi'an Famous Foods

Josh took us to this totally awesome eatery in Chinatown called Xi'an Famous Foods. You order your food according to a menu in the form of photographs against a wall and pay for your food. You grab a seat and wait for your number to be called. The kitchen is downstairs and the food comes up via a dumbwaiter next to the cashier.

We got oxtail, pork "Zha Jiang" hand-ripped noodles, spicy cumin lamb hand-ripped noodles in soup, and an extremely refreshing tiger vegetables salad. The noodles were chewy and tasty. The soup broth spicy and very cumin-y. The jasmine tea was barely sweetened in an Honest Tea-style and very floral. All in all extremely delicious. We are definitely coming back here.
