I think I'll go for those the next time I'm in CA. The fries weren't exactly limp, but they seemed sort of underdone. I've heard about the secret menu. I just checked and In-N-Out refers to it as the Not-So-Secret Menu on its website.

Oops!

My post got listed under my husband's...

Oops!

My post got listed under my husband's name (Brian).

It was me, Michelle (Christine's friend).

We love In-N-Out Burgers! Try it next time, otherwise the fries are limp because they use vegetable oil to fry the fries. You'll never go back to normal fries again.

The "animal style" fries are OK. I prefer fries "well done". The "spread" on the "animal style" fries is just too much. But, I have been known to get the "spread" on the side.

My husband likes it with "chopped peppers" in it. They'll add that inside the burger for you. I think the peppers are too spicy and it distracts from the burger taste. So I ask for my peppers on the side.

I like my cheeseburger with "extra tomato" and fresh onions. But sometimes, I get it "animal style" where they put sauteed onions in it instead.

Do you know about the other "secret" burger menu that's not listed on the actual menu? It's a Californian thing and a native would know about it.
